With the high point of Wood Street’s social calendar just over two months away on Saturday 15 June, the organisers are looking for volunteers to help out with the following key roles.

Organising the sponsored walk
Do you or anyone you know have the experience or the ability to help with the organisation of the sponsored walk, on the morning of the event?

Update 17 May 2013: sadly the walk has been postponed.

Flower power
Do you or anyone you know have any ideas how we can smarten up the Plaza for the event? There are some very nice flower baskets on the lampposts, and a large flower bed, but they could do with some tlc.

Event volunteers
We desperately need volunteers to help out on the day at the event on the Plaza and for the sponsored walk. If we can’t show that we have sufficient helpers for the day of the event we could fail the risk assessment.

Leaflet distribution
We need to distribute thousands of leaflets to make sure local people know of the event. Can you or anyone you know help out with distribution in early June?
