Wood Street First is a voluntary community group Supporting and helping to set up other local community groups and projects. We organise lots of events, projects and activities. We will and do respond to all the needs, desires, opportunities, expectations, hopes, wishes and challenges we face in our community.
We aim to make our community a better place to live, work and play.
This year we will be organising a large selection of events from Family Fun Days, Children’s Play Street Events, Workshops, Buskers & BBQ Parties and Street Parties, these event build cohesion in the community.

Event Team Members
Event Team Members are the people the plan the event from concept to delivery.
An event stewards main responsibilities and primary role is to assist with the delivery of an enjoyable and safe experience for the visitors to the event.
Event Riggers ensure the infrastructure for the event is installed and taken down This can include erecting marquees, gazebos, stages, lighting, sound equipment.
