A Thank You to all those who helped provide meals for Whipps Cross AAU Staff

Feed the Fighters the ones Fighting to Save Our Lives

We have been providing meals to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at Whipps Cross Hospital Acute Assessment Unit over the last few weeks during this time we have supplied 1,240 meals.  This was a very difficult time for all the NHS staff and providing one hot meal during their long shifts was the least we could do.  We would like to say thank you to all those that made donations to make this possible. But we specially want to thank those that did the cooking to provide these meals seven days a week.

The AAU Meal Service ran for 31 days, delivering approximately 40 Meals per day, a total of 1,240 Meals. These Meals were cooked on a daily rota by over 25 Chefs and Cooks.

The chefs and Cooks were:-

Made in Portugal – Luis & Anita

Punjab Catering & PL84U AL-SUFFA – Khair Mubarak & Saira Mir

St Best Jamaican —  Sharon & Monikah

Egg N Bread —  Guy & Volunteer Staff

Ferndale Ave – Aisha & Suleman Parekh

                            Lyn Duncan

                            Michelle Kearney

                            Fran Corcoran & Rob

Fulbourne Road — Melissa & David Bryant

Foresters Drive —  Paulina Hodgkiss, Sean Carroll  & Rahila Najam Once again we asked for Volunteers for this project and once again we were overwhelmed with so many people that wanted to help.  Thank You Everyone.
