There will also be a Christmas craft market, a Santa’s Grotto, Christmas Wishes from local charity Significant Seams, Gigi vintage clothes fashion parade, and seasonal refreshments. Plus Pets Corner, the Wood Street pet shop on the plaza, is planning to have animals from Brooks Farm. And the Post Office is organising a space for older people.
Marquees and gazebos have been hired to provide shelter, so don’t be put off by any forecast for rain (or snow).

The event aims to promote local businesses and is part of the nationwide ‘Supporting Small Businesses Saturday’ initiative that is being taken forward locally by Waltham Forest Council.
