Do you know a hero of Wood Street?

Exciting news: at the Wood Street Summer Fayre on the 29th August, local community artists Wood Street Walls will be holding an interactive workshop. Part of this workshop will include artists producing large portraits of local heroes to brighten up the Plaza until the development works starts.

This is your chance to nominate your chosen local hero for one of these portraits. All you need to do is go here to make your nominations.

Mr Morris, hero of Walthamstow and perhaps Wood St, as rendered by Wood St Walls.

So put your thinking cap on, submit your nomination and who knows, it could be you – or someone you know – featuring in Wood Street’s very own urban art!
